Somerset Wool Shed are a mother and daughter who, between us, have many years' experience in dyeing, spinning and working with wool. We love colour and try to find fleeces and yarn that feel lovely to work with.

Everything we make is unique, from the colourways we dye the yarn to the patterns in our Fair Isle-inspired hats. We try to source our materials from known suppliers - for example, from sheep farmers in Somerset or Shetland, or specialist yarn spinners for undyed sock yarn.
